BPEC approved ventilation installer training
From 1st October 2010 domestic ventilation became ‘notifiable work’ as part of Approved Document Part F 2010 (ADF) so it is vital that installers are properly trained and qualified.
As part of our commitment to installers, engineers and customers, Nuaire now offers accredited ventilation installer training at our BPEC accredited training facility.
If you are an installer
- learn new skills and increase your qualifications
- increase your scope of work you can offer to you customers
- be able to confidently install, inspect and commission domestic ventilation
- minimise costs for you and your customers
- do it when it suits you – we offer courses once a week rather than once a month
- minimise costs – we only charge the cost of course materials for existing customers
- ensure that all your installations are completed by qualified staff
- promote sustainability, using local labour and enhance local skills with your preferred suppliers
Training Delivery
Training is scheduled for delivery over two days, 9.30am to 4.00pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays throughout 2011.
The training comprises the course book, required for essential pre study before attending, a lecture in the form of power point presentation, discussion, working exercises and examples of products and materials and a practical ‘hands on’ session on commissioning a ‘live’ system and concludes with a forty three question open book test requiring a 100% pass.
The training book is £45.00; it’s unique in that it carries the candidate’s registration number which has to be presented to the trainer, together with two passport size photographs with the application form. The training book will be issued on completion of registration. This £45.00 is not a Nuaire fee - just the cost for the training material.
Customers will be required to arrange their own travel and accommodation.
